Electronic
Chamber
Music
Recorded at the Deer Head
Inn
Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania
January
30, 2004
This
CD documents a remarkable performance
by Xeroid
Entity at the
renouned jazz venue The
Deer Head Inn.
Xeroid Entity
has a unique sound and style. Xeroid
Entity
is a trio that preforms live free-improvisational music; jazz in the
most open-minded and inclusive context - electro-jazz. While electro-symphonic might
also apply, Xeroid Entity
uses the term
Electronic
Chamber Music.
Xeroid
Entity
is constantly exploring new musical territory by going beyond the
barriers of standard conventions while still drawing upon classical
influences. Their
music is both relaxing and interesting, with rich
textures, deep melodies and subtile harmonies.
They believe that
free-improvisation provides for maximum expressiveness and interaction
between group
members and the audience, while avoiding predictability. Their
music ranges from light and whimsical to dark and
aggressive, often within the same piece. Much of it is ambient in
nature; without a discernable beat. When they do play rhythmically
based music, there are often complex counter rhythms giving the music a
poly-rhythmic flavor.
The
members of Xeroid
Entity
are Howard
Moscovitz, Bill Fox,
and Greg
Waltzer. Combined they have
more than 70 years of experience making electronic music. All are
former engineers at Bell Laboratories. They are founding members of electro-music.com
and active in the electro-music scene.

No
transformative studio processes were used in the production
of this CD. Except for the adjustment of volume levels this is
a
direct transfer
from a digital recording taken directly their onstage equipment. The
sound quality is outstanding.
This CD is professionally manufactured in a shrink-wrapped full-sized
jewel case. This is the second release from electro-music
media[tm].
