Dave Peck is a master synthesist; internationally know and respected. He is the creator of several of the factory presets for the new Clavia G2 synthesizer.
Endo-Spectra is very well produced. Listening to it is like taking a relaxing journey through rich sonic textures and lush washes of beautiful electronic sounds. About the music, Dave says:
Endo-Spectra is the result of a two-year composition and recording project, utilizing classic analog synthesizers, state-of-the-art virtual modular synthesis, and various indigenous acoustic instruments that were collected during my travels to Africa, the Middle East, and Central and South America. The music is inspired by places of spiritual significance I have visited during these travels, such as Machu Picchu, The Blue Mosque of Istanbul, and the Sahara Desert.
Endo-Spectra could be described as Ambient, or Electronic World music, with a dramatic or cinematic style. The first portion of the CD is intended to stimulate visual imagery and imagination, using complex layers of synthetic and acoustic timbres and dense reverberant percussion. As the CD progresses, it becomes more abstract and soothing, and is ideal for meditation, relaxation, yoga, massage, or simply as accompaniment to unwinding and daydreaming. Enjoy.
Here are some mp3 excerpts of some of the tracks on this CD:
Droam
Fluid I
Rutenga Station
Submerged
Endo-Spectra was professionally recorded and mastered using the HDCD High-Definition CD process for maximum fidelity, while retaining compatibility with all standard CD players.
