Ether Bunnies - Nectar
[EB-1]
$11.00

Nectar is the first CD from Ether Bunniesof group of musicians from Asheville, North Carolina. Asheville is known as a center of the arts in an otherwise very laid-back, peacefull, natural environment. The Ether Bunnies are certainly true to their roots.

They describe themselves quite aptly as a"... multi-instrumental trio demonstrating a variety of epileptic bird calls over appalachian coma hymns. Subtle, polystylistic performances with an emphasis on composition rather than improvisation. Pulsing rhythms and percussive outbursts magnify minimalist melodic sensibilities as drones form and decay. A burning bee on a banjo. Live sampling, organic instruments and understated electronic elements work to deliver the half-remembered songs of tomorrow. Truly a petting zoo for delicate hands. "

The Ether Bunnies have a style all their own. It has an ambient feel; very relaxed, but not boreing.

We understand that The Ether Bunnies play live. We'd love to hear one of their concerts. Until then, Nectar will have to suffice.

These CDs are in full-sized jewel cases. They are not shrink wrapped, but that are brand new.
