electro-music 2006 - conference and music festival

If you would like to be considered for a performance spot, please send us a sample of your music (or a pointer to some mp3s), preferably something that is representative of your live performance. This must be received by the end of February. If you have performed at a previous electro-music event, you do not need to send anything, but you are welcome to do so if you have something new. We will finalize the program by mid March. Send materials to the following addresses:

Please include a written description of your music, or a pointer to a web site containing one, suitable to be used in promoting the event.
Send us a photo, diagram, or dimensions showing how much space your rig will require, or a list of equipment you will be using. Provide us with an estimate of how much time you will need to set up and take down. Give us a list of the members of your band, with contact information for each. This is an interactive event, so be prepared to talk about your musical style, approach and techniques.

Performances at the event may be recorded. Artists must give permission for electro-music.com to use these recordings. Artists will retain the rights to their music, and any recordings they make themselves. If you are selected to perform, we will contact you to work out the details and to get your release.

To make the event a more positive experience for attendees and performers, we request that performers register and pay for the full 3-day event. We regret that we won't be able to compensate performers. However, you can sell your CDs and merchandise and keep 100% of the proceeds.

We may produce a sampler CD of artists that will be performing at electro-music 2007. If you wish to be considered for inclusion, send a track (between 3 and 8 minutes long). (No mp3s please.) The sampler CD will be used to help promote the event. It may also be sold to help cover the production costs, and possibly to help fund future events. Artists must give permission for their contribution to be used, with the understanding that there will be no compensation from CD sales. Artists that are included on the CD will receive a copy. If your music is selected for the sampler CD, we will contact you to work out the details and to get your release.
