exporting audio in cubase

im using cubase sx 3


im fairly new to cubase, i have recorded a midi loop to an audio track, i want to export this audio so i can edit it in sound forge, when i export it, it saves as an OMF file.

i cant open this in sound forge, i was wondering how can i export as a wav file? any help is appreciated

select the track you want to export. set up the markers for the section you want. select 'file > export > audio mixdown' and then make sure you select the right settings in the save applet that pops up.

You'll have options for the following:

Channels: mono/stereo/stereo interleaved
Outputs: Master stereo out/FX channels/VST instruments
Resolution: 8/16/24/32/32(float) bit
sample rate.
then option to import into audio pool

if you import it into the audio pool then it will appear in project folder/audio as a wav file you can then open in sound forge.
