Yeah, finally had an entire evening to do some old fashioned patching. As I'm into distorted guitars again lately (good for getting rid of frustrations), I had another go at some amp simulation. I try to stand on the shoulders of synth-giant Rob here as I used almost all distortion-circuitry from him. I also incorporated my FDN reverb as well as an updated version of early reflections. I did some semi-precise calculations on the spacing of delay times for a small to medium sized room, and am quite happy with the result. Adds impact or punch (to my ears at least). I will also include a small mp3 with the reverb a bit overdone just to (over)demonstrate the point. The reverb tail can still be optimized further, but this is it for now.

If interested, have fun and shred away Cool

edit: added a second version of the patch some 8 hours after first post, to fix some inaccuracies I thought of while sleeping Laughing

edit2: you might want to add a rectifier between the lowpass output of the multi-filter and the mixer it feeds back into (it is an idea from the music-dsp archives in which low frequency energy of the signal influences the distortion by adding it as a sort of tube-bias signal; by including a rectifier this effect becomes assymetrical as it should be in tubes, however this is probably not very accurate. Listen and add to taste.

Newer version of the patch; contains better extra 'bias' and feedback circuit. Nothing scientific, more judged by ear. Amp sim with some included FX and my own ER and FDN reverb.
