I tend to patch things in an unefficient manner so I wonder if there is a more elegant solution for this. It's basically a way of creating a evenly distributed set of values across a specific range.

In the attached patch I have created a system for spreading the phase of 6 LFO's.

Hit a key to sync the LFO's then the mod wheel controls the phase spread: at 0 all the Lfo's are in sync, at maximum they are spread evenly across the full range of phase.

I could have also used this system to control the distribution of panning values.. but I set them manually.

Cheers

Elegance is in the eye of the beholder. Wink

Sounds interesting when you set the audio oscilators to different waveforms.

very true, I just wish I was better at logic stuff on the nord, but I don't really think in analogue logic instinctively. But I ususally find a solution so I should be thankful.

Logic is a natural addition to modular synthesis. I think of it mainly in the realm of control signal generation and conditioning, but of course there are always creative ways to use it in unintended ways. I wish the G2 had a little bit better selection of logic modules.

I think in digital, not analogue.. so the nord logic and control fries my brain a bit.
