Do female Norders exist?

Hey there,

I'm well aware that music production in general is a very male dominated field. Having said that, there are some females that do compose/produce music.

I have never noticed any female names from members here and was just wondering if there is even a single female member here that enjoys Nording.

It won't make any difference really, but I'm just curious, are there any females here? I suspect that the answer is no, but ask anyway. Very Happy

Marije performs with a Micro that gets controled by SuperCollider which is in turn controled by custom electronics, some of which are intergrated into a overall.

She doesn't hide behind a male persona (as far as I know) but for a while she did pretend to be a (much) older female lecuturer.

Well, I think it's good to know that we males are not completely alone when it comes to Nording. Laughing

I suppose the law of averages suggests that there should be at least, some interested females... I can however understand their reluctance to join totally male dominated forums though!

Mind you, if I was a female Norder, I'd probably love the attention... because I've always loved being 'different', not because I'd be a sl*g!! Very Happy
