The more I get into my own thing on the G2, the less I care about the factory banks. Actually, I HATE factory banks. puker

I would like to erase them completely in order to have a clean slate to work with, building up my own collection of personal patches.

Of course, I could save an "Init Patch" over every patch number -one by one. But that's sooo cumbersome Rolling Eyes

So, does anybody know? Is there a procedure to initialize the patch/performance memory?

Sure, just open the file browser tool, highlight all of the patches in a given bank, and then right-click and select delete. I check and there is a delete-all selected option. I'm using a beta version of the editor though, which BTW never hangs the USB port. Smile
