Hi all. I'm new to ChucK, and I'm quite thrilled to have found it. I'm fairly used to scripting languages, though I would like to exploit some of ChucK's object oriented features. While attempting to do so, I nested some classes and found what I believe to be a bug, since ChucK aborts and refers to chuck_emit.cpp when the code is run. I looked around the website and didn't find a place to report bugs.

The reason I am posting here is that I would like a workaround to the above problem (plus I figure developers probably will find out about the bug here). I am trying to clean up a bunch of code I wrote by making it more modular and splitting it into separate files by function (midi handling, sound generation, signal processing etc). In order to facilitate communication between shreds sporked from separate files, I created public classes where appropriate that contain other classes and functions. I would like to know is how others keep their code organized so that it is easy to read and modify. Okay thanks,

Chris

Ouch! Yes, that's a bug, good catch :¬).

I think the prefered way of reporting bugs is to post them to the bug-report section of the WiKi but you can also send them to the mailing list if you don't like WiKi's. If you don't want to register for either the list (I think all ChucKists should but who am I?) you can mail Ge directly. Ge's adress is;

gewang(at)cs.princeton.edu

Welcome on board!
