RedGorilla Music Fest Is Now Accepting Entries for 2008

RedGorilla Music Fest is held in Austin, Texas, on March 12-15, 2008. Last year, RedGorilla was an overwhelming success and made a name for itself as the cool, rebel showcase that caters to its artists and promotes up-and-coming independent music in all genres to help independent artists further their careers.

New for 2008! The Marq signs on as RedGorilla's exclusive DJ and Dance venue

The Marq, Austin's newest upscale lounge, will serve as RedGorilla's only venue exclusive to DJs and dance genres. So if electronica, techno, house, or anything in between is your forte, RedGorilla has the best place for you to showcase your music this year. (www.themarqaustin.com)

Over 200 bands, solo artists, and DJs will participate in shows in venues on 6th Street in Austin. RedGorilla showcases will take place from Wednesday, March 12 to Saturday, March 15 in clubs that are right in the heart of all the action. The event continues to be a "No Badge Required" event. It is free to attend and is open to the general public.

RedGorilla Music Fest takes place during one of the most important music weeks in the year. This is the music industry's premier destination for the year, where thousands of fans and music industry professionals descend upon Austin to network and check out new talent at the various music festivals around town.

If you are interested in showcasing your music at the 2008 RedGorilla Music Fest, don't wait! We encourage artists from all over the world to showcase at RedGorilla, and we look forward to having you participate. All genres of music are accepted. To enter by mail, just fill out an application and return it to RedGorilla along with your CD, a press kit or bio, and the entry fee. You can also enter online through Sonicbids or Broadjam.
