Sounds great, kijjaz! All three of them sound the same though, at least they start out the same. Are they the same? _________________ @(ºoº)@ ><}}}º> ~(^.^) <:3 )~ |

It's OK, that's because they're three times as good. I played them over the internet in real time using a chat interface to this girl I like. Thanks for ChucKing me some music to woo the ladies with, kijjaz! You're alright in my book! _________________ @(ºoº)@ ><}}}º> ~(^.^) <:3 )~ |

kijjaz, if you are playing around with ratios of frequencies, consider the following web page:

Apparently we can make vowel sounds with ratios of frequencies. I'm thinking of messing with this in my guitar effects software. Just thought you might be interested. _________________ @(ºoº)@ ><}}}º> ~(^.^) <:3 )~ |

Yes, it did for me. I just converted the double-wah effect on my Guitar Tracker software to work as a pair of band-pass filters, and created formants that way. I was able to make a few sounds like "wah" and "woah" by moving the mouse from one area of the screen to another while the guitar input played. It was interesting, I will post the source code later in my Guitar Tracker thread. Steps toward a talking guitar, haha. _________________ @(ºoº)@ ><}}}º> ~(^.^) <:3 )~ |
