That's a huge sound. Thanks for sharing.

Can't say how close to Joe's Birdland sound it is because I have never listened to Weather Report. He is the guy who patches one of his ARP2600 keyboards through an inverter so it plays backwards? That just about sums (jazz) up for me, too cleaver for my taste. My favourite synthesist/player from that era is Jan Hammer. The only guy on earth that can wear a keyboard round his neck and still look cool.

jeez... Jan Hammer he's great i remember his performance with Mahavishnu Orchestra with John McLaughlin, in session with Neal Schon

He is a great film music composer and Tv also (remember Miami Vice title track?)
