Here's another nice app.

If you liked Bloom, where events are short and repeating, you might like Trope, where events are long and repeating. Very similar in concept, but Trope implements a more continuous and evolving event stream. Capable of very quiet and slow moving evolutions.

It's quite a nice app, good for listening to in the background, but I'm not sure there is enough control to actually 'play' it in any meaningful way

Agreed, it's not very controlable, but useful nonetheless. I think that with a stylus you could potentially manage to get specific notes out of it, with practice... With my fingers and some concentration I hit the right note 4-5 times out of 10.

I used trope on this week's Adventures in Sound.
