Mic Input

Hi

I received my G2X yesterdat after a (really long) repair and I think now the Mic Input has much less gain than before.

When I turn the Mic Level knob to the maximum, I am never able to get the 3 leds under it on and it is already really hard to make the second one turn on.

I have the idea that I could never put the Mic Level to its maximum or I would get some cracks in the sound, which makes me wonder if my Mic Gain is working as it should?
Or am I just remembering things wrong?

uhh.... sounds like another repair is needed Confused

I had a similar problem from the beginning when I bought my G2 incl. standard G2X mic: mic-input never really worked (only 1 LED blinking), but when adding 1 or 2 amp modules in Patches i got a signal but a quite distorted signal....

Hi

Mine is still in warranty, and since I am studying in a foreign country, I don't mind waiting for a repair (ok, not more than the reasonable time, unlike the last repair...), so I prefer it to be repaired by a proper technician.

But thanks for clearing my doubts Wink

Now I know it will have to go to repair once again...
