controlling program changing for nmg2 with ext midi

Hi everybody.Does any of you know hot to control program changing for nmg2 with external midi gear.In this case i'mtrying to control program variations inside g2 from ableton live with a midi keyboard.
I could't do anything by usinc the cc 32 that should be the hardlink midi number for bank selector.The thing i want to do is to control selection of patch inside a bank.Something happened by using the function patch selector of my keyboard but it was not a clear behaviour and by the way i can't find out what is the midi cc number of this function of the keyboard to be able to control it from a knob.I will be very pleased to have any help from you .Thanks Bye.

Yup, CC 32 is bank select, and to select a patch or a performance from that bank you do not use a MIDI CC message but the MIDI Program Change message. To select a variation inside a patch you can use CC 70.

Yes Blue Hell.Unfortunately i don't need to select bank varations or at least i will need it later.
Do you know any way to control program change from external sequencer?I finally was able to do that with pgm browse mode of my keyboard but it doesn't seem to be a comand usable from the ableton sequencer.
Anyone has got any ideas?

I change programs in the slots of my G2 Engine without sending a bank change message. I just program my controller (Novation Remote Zero) to send a PC message on the channel for whichever slot I'm trying to change. Works every time.
