I just got a Yamaha PSS 290 for 10€ and I want to bent it, i have experience with electronics (more lunetta style), but i already fucked up 2 keyboards trying to bent them, so i want to do it more properly on this one.

I found severel discussions here about yamaha bents, I also saw this one:
http://circuit-bent.net/pss-270-tutorial.html

but the chips in the 290 are different.
there are 3 ICs:
XG214C0 (with is the CPU)
AN90B22
YM7129

Is the YM7129 the FM Chip?
I can not find any datasheet for it

For the AN90B22 google said somethin about transistor rows.

i cant see exactly where the data lines from the YM end up at the CPU chip because there is some black plastic glued on top.

best
demian
