Why did you not just use inverters all on one chip and make it two chips instead of three?

because he is changing the supply voltage/current on one chip Wink

I see 9V on U1 and 9V on U3. Where is my blind spot? Smile

Edit: NEVER MIND. I see the the ground on that chip changes.
