Afternoon All,
I am working on my next set of panels after building an MFOS Ultimate/Expander/Seq and for a change of interface I was planning to use slider pots- I think they can give a better visual representation of what is going on in some positions, I will show you what I mean with a panel mock up soon! However I am struggling to find knobs for the sliders that arent the "dented in the middle, ribbed, fader" style. I have seen some pebble/blobby (!!) looking ones but that was some time ago. Can anyone help me please?

Secondly I want to incorporate a mixer matrix. The best idea I have for this is to use a pin matrix a la EMS. Are there any others I should be looking at? Any mad ideas are welcome.

I can only find one manufacturer of matrix blocks - Ghielmetti

10 x 10 Matrix 41.40 euros each.

The patch pins are a bit on the expensive side though. I keep thinking about getting a few to experiment with, but just never seem to get round to it.

EDIT - For some reason, the link above doesn't work unless you're logged in (to the electro-music forums...weird!)

Andy,
Thanks for that. I already had Ghielmetti on my hit list. I will keep you updated on how easy it is to order one or 2 from them.

I have also been mulling over a sort of "active" matrix in the of manner of this. I think a purchase of Electronotes will get me kick started......

Perhaps a development of a certain persons very elegant buffers?

Wink

PS I have just seen the price of the diode pins, no wonder you only see them in sets of 10s on EMS. You were right.
