Ok, after some checks now this thing seems to work. It make some noises but i've got two main problems:

- The Zany volume is very low. I can have a decent volume only if i touch an R12 contact with one of my multimeter probe. I've also tried to replace the resistor but nothing happens.

- The filter doesn't seems to work. Turning R8 knob don't produce any change in the sound.

Tomorrow I will post some pics of my awful work Razz

Cheers,
Luca

Check your ground connections. I built a PaiaFatman some time ago, and when wiring the knobs, I left a ground connection floating. The synth seemed to work, except envelopes did some wired things, etc. The problems you have sound like you might not have the ground (or power if that's what it's connected to) connected on the volume and filter pots.

Hey Luca,

Ouch! that's gotta hurt! (imagine bronx-type accent!!)

I wish the pic here was at a higher resolution- as it's difficult to see exactly what is going on here. Can you send some macro/ close up shots too??

Luca,

a bit dark maybe- but I could see what was going on :)

Get some desoldering braid and put it over the joint pressing the Iron into the braid. This should take all the solder off- you could also use a pump, but this can be a bit messy- but both are useful tools to own.

To me it sounds pretty fun and cool. I also love you crazy layout. Put it down to experience and do another!!

Tom :)

I've used 3 Level Amp to get whacky sound at a decent level. i've put it and a sine wave into a Mixer2 to tune the analog oscillator. I've connected the mix output to a Pitch Shifter and used Pitch controller from KBD block to tune the oscillator. A filter and an ADSR do the rest Razz
