engine G2

I am using junXion, a product from STEIM (www.steim.org) to send MIDI messages to the Engine G2. I am not having success sending bank change messages on cc32. The manual does not go into this subject in any depth. Would someone give me a blow by blow description of what the Engine expects in order to specify the bank?

CC's and program change messages work fine.

The Bank MSB cc# 0 is needed first before the Bank LSB cc# 32 and then the PC.

Thanks for your reference. The abelton-live discussion was just the education I needed. It would be nice if the Clavia manual had a short paragraph explaining this because some of us use non-commercial software and hardware as midi controllers and all the standard information has not crossed our paths in the way that it has for the more commercial users.
