as in too sharp or badly mixed? it was just quick and dirty mix ... there is shaping/wrapping before and after the filter ... at variable times ...

ah ... but you raise a valid point. I ought to put a filter on after the dist which goes after the filter to smooth things over eventually

source -> distortion -> filter1 -> distortion -> filter2 linked and offset from filter1 using a balance knob

the thing in the patch is that some distortion kicks in right away and some does not...
