this is my first foray into video art Exclamation It's an assignement for a multimedia composition class. It's a live improvisation with Metasynth Pro 4 captured with Snapz Pro X and edited with iMovie. it's a QT movie so I am not sure if everybody can see it but I am ready to convert it if someone asks me.

it goes without saying that the music of the video uses a microtonal tuning Very Happy I retuned MetaSynth with the ubiquitous LMSO using an odd scale built dividing a perfect fifth (3:2 or 701.955 cents) into 6 equal steps of almost 117 cents each Shocked why Question why not Wink

Very nice.

Refreshing to see something monochromatic, and that doesn't rely on constant motion.

thanks Ian
black and white wasn't an esthetic choice. Metasynth uses black and white for mono (colours for stereo). In order to be able to play in real time with it (synthetize sounds based on pictures on the screen) and capture the video at the same time I had to carefully choose my tools: sine waves for audio and black and white for video. but those choices give the video an old fashioned look, it reminds me of something coming from the '50s Wink
