Subject description: Will she actually bend?

I have my girlfriend's old Yamaha PSS-9, which she will get back, maybe... I hope to bend this little sucker, and I hooked it up to a good Godlyke power supply (which cuts out everytime I short circuit the bugger, although I will invest in 1000 batteries next week). So far I have not got too much out of the PSS-9, a few random chords and stuff.

Anybody properly modded a PSS-9 to get some whacked out sounds out of it?

I have an old single coil guitar pickup, could I wire this into the equation, maybe to pick up the sound made by a spring, giving it a crashing sound when I hit the keyboard off stuff?
