hi all

i often have the problem that some of my generated sounds are clipping.
i know that it's easy to avoid it with lowering the gains.
regardless i think it will be great (especially for live sessions) to have a compressor/limiter in chuck.

i tried to find some mathematical formulas for building such a ugen, but wasn't that successful Sad
so my question, is anybody able to provide me with some useful information how to build a compressor/limiter?
or has even anybody already made one in chuck?

A compressor/expander/limiter UGen will be released as part of 1.2.0.8, courtesy of Matt Hoffman and Graham Coleman. It's already in CVS. We hope to release next week or so.

Rock on.
