This weekend I am going to get a used Alesis Andromeda.

Can anyone please go into detail about what , and how I should check out this synth b4 I aquire it?

Please don't leave out any details or steps. Is there anyway I could find out if it was one of the synths manufactured in the USA or Taiwann?
Any input is greatly apreciated.

there are already written some words on this forum about this subject, so read the previous post through also for this question. ( b.e. testing filters osc etc.)
just see if every buuton works, and switch on vox monitor under globals to see which voice is actually playing. test if they are reasonably tuned, should be able to tune withinca +- 4cents. also see if filters are well callibrating by setting resonance to10 and see if they keep in tune.
lots of things to test so take your time, read the info on the forum, take an expertfriend with you and , as always, consider buying one with guarantee,or a new one when the difference in price can be overcome.
good luck
