The CD was made with field recordings on DAT and Binaural microphones in the Peruvian rainforest and synthesised using MaxMSP and other pro grammes.

Quote:
"Bosque Invisible" (invisible forest) was recorded in YarinaCocha, Pucallpa Peru

It is composed entirely from field recordings made there. Using digital processing techiques such as granular synthesis the sounds have been transformed often into something else - such as a moped into a mosquito. Most of the recordings were made with binaural "in-ear" microphones to give realistic spatial effects. For this reason to get the full effect of the binaural recordings it is best listened to on headphones .

The album describes a walk starting in the noisy town of Pucallpa and gradually making its journey to the edge of town where the farmed land is, then the burnt zone where the jungle has been burnt for farming, though the fire and finally to the jungle itself . Passing through some of the strange enviroments of the rainforest the jouney finishes in a cave inhabited by .......The recordings were first aired in public at the Czech republics national gallery "The Rudolfinum" to accompany the paintings of Czech painter "Otto Placht" .
