Hi all,
I'm new with andromeda, just bought it.. i put it in my old stand which ussualy place for my JP8000 then maybe the weight is more that JP the keyboard stand is like kicking the bones (the interlock of the stand is almost broken), and its happen broken after when i played the andromeda .. i press the key bit hard and the keyboard stand just fall down.. and my andromeda also...SAD soo SAD...
I check the display etc is oke.. but i courious is the Osilator or the Analog part is affected by the crash? Please advice..
I also have Nord Lead 3 , Korg Ms 2000 br , Waldorf Q , Micro Korg , Emu Orbit , but Andromeda is my FAV.. This Synth is Fantastic..
Thanks guys,

Oh my god...
Anything of that kind and so heavy doesn´t really benefit from a drop like that. Proably you have been lucky, but there is also a chance something inside might have be knocked about in an unhealthy way. I don´t know how the insides of the Andy looks like. What I do know is that something like the PPG Wave 2.3 would definitively be knocked out after such a drop.
The Andy is possibly a bit more robust. _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

CRAZY DAYS.. I dont know really is ANDROMEDA is ussual act like that.. when i see the forum here so i know its a ussual Shity Stuff when u own this massive Synth.. (THANKS FOR THIS FORUM IS HELP ME A LOT!)
So now i can be calm down if my Andro's is hangs or out of tune..

Join the A6 list and ask there:

Try clicking on tune followed by All in the menu and see what happens. You might have gotten lucky. : ) Regarding it not booting, that sometimes happens on mine but I just ignore it. It's a mighty OS with tons of features so I can see it hanging on boot now and then. Mine if fine though. Once it is on, I never have a problem. But mine only hangs once in a while. _________________ cheers,
