hi... did anyone ever hack the the roland sh1000 and add vcf audio input?

i have a partial schematic... ´i'm not clever enough to read it and find out where the signal from the vco/noise, goes into the filter section... i could hack it right there and add an audio input...
i would love you forever and name my kids after you if you could help me!! Shocked Shocked

thanks

so i put a mic signal through my mixer, fed the hot signal through pin 7, and the other to ground...and said 123 testing in the mic.
first of all, the input had to be amazingly high before i could hear anything coming into the filter.
second: it was distorted like.....crap! not normal distortion... cant explain it.
i did get som minimal filtereing when i was playing around wiht the freq and Q on the synth...
any ideas?

thanks!

Danm. That's the kind of signal I would have expected to work. Mine is dead so I can't fool around and see if I can find anything helpful.

Maybe post on the Synth DIY part of this site and see if any of those guys have any advice.

Late reply for (poor) reference:

Pin 7 on the VCF-board should work just fine (Unless my memory really has caved in) - I didn't test it with a mike, but I presume that would give a really low input. Instead I used a (rather too) strong audio (synth) signal which worked just fine. If I was to patch this out permanently, I would have put some protection to prevent overloading, though, (Something like a small resistor and a fit zener-diode to ground.) or an input amplifier with limiter.
