Lots and lots of processed/filtered noise.

I've tried to capture the sound in a small mp3 file but I have to say,
the real thing sounds much better especially the low end.

(My neighbours are probably wondering what that threatening low rumble is
that they've heard the last couple of days, me know nothing! Smile )

(For expanded G2's only)

enjoy!

The mp3 has some very nice White Noise like sounds, like as in "The Visitation" - must check out the patch later.

Band = White Noise
Album = An Electronic Storm
Song = The Visitation

i think it's a 1969 album, in part produced by Delia Derbyshire and a host of collaborators.

musique concrete heavily inspires this album. possibly the first "pop" record that featured manipulated samples, albeit all edited and put together on tape.

i'd recommend getting "love without sound" and "here come the fleas" first. it's like Nine Inch Nails, zOviet france, download, aphex twin, radiohead all rolled into one and many years before their time.

i got a 2nd pressing copy of it on vinyl. *grins*. would love a first pressing.

2nd album is apparently hideous.

It's totally different, more like switched on Bach by W Carlos ... I like it as well. Can imagine people to not like it though, being as different as it is.

There were more albums and David Vorhaus did some solo stuff, don't know it really, heard bits & pieces, seemed like so so.

Sounds familiar! Smile

Lots of your noodles have been playing for houres here without really realizing it...
Somehow these g2-noodles have a very hypnotizing effect on me, this one is no exception Smile

(I've made a stripped-down version last night, this one should work on unexpanded G2's as well)

enjoy!
