Ok well as far as I am concerned most soft synths do not fully reproduce the keyboards they are modeling.

There are two exceptions: the Korg Legacy collection, and most of Creamware's soft synths. Both utilize "component modeling" to make their synths. With the Korg you need a fairly powerful machine, but the reproductions are pretty much dead-on. Creamware uses its own proprietary cards and processors so there is no hit on your system at all. The instruments they have modeled sound closer than anything native IMO. Their Minimoog, for example, is the best software version I've heard, although none are quite dead on like the Korg.

[editor's note: I split this topic and the ones following from the "About This Forum" topic. That's just an announcement topic. I locked it. --mosc]

Yes, the only problem is that it is a processor hog like many softies. You pretty much need a state of the art machine to utilize all its features at once.

I have it for 2 weeks now. I like the MS20 and the Polysix. Not so excited about the Wavestation.

I have never been excited about the Wavestation: I had both the A/D and the SR. sold.

Don't like the Wavestation? To each his/her own. I dig it, always have. I love the Legacy collection... however, I'm pissed at Korg. I'd love to upgrade but the upgrade path seems so incredibly difficult it's just not worth the hassle.

The real key to this VST is running Legacy Cell patches where you run combos of these 3 synths with effects. Amazing.
