from what i hear boss/roland ( and EHX i hope ) are suing behry for the new pedal line and it might not make it to stores. i'm not expecting much from the dim c but i've never heard the real thing in person so i'm not to sure what to expect from it. the bar is set low in my head already. but thats brings up a point i wanted to throw out there. cloning discontinued devices is an entirely different matter if its done on a small scale like with the pro audio diy crowd doing neve clones and such. its a very different thing to clone active units.

lily pure? we may never know, i personal put mackie and behry and the rest in the same little stolen boat.

i've never heard the Geos story but i'm not surprised it happened. i got into computers with a tandy 33mhz but stayed on the user end a for while. i've always wondered what you did your layout's on they have a very cool vibe to them. if i can say that about scheme art? just the thickness and roundness of the lines and stuff. is geos still available i still have a hand full of older machines around here i put to use.

and these guys where offering some mods for the sm pro stuff http://www.blacklionaudio.com/ i hear good things about their motu mods as well

Para, I think you make some excellent points. Don't bite your tongue. Venting is quite OK here. Sure, used gear can be a great value, but you have to know what you are looking for.

There has been a little bit of discussion about op amps on the forum. Think I'll start up a topic in the DIY section.

I like the way Rolls does mixers. They include a full schematic in the manual. Not something you see much of these day.
