Hey everybody.

I just got a G2 and have been messing around with sequencers for my first serious patch (attached). There are 2 things I'd like it to be able to do which I'm not sure of:

1) Is there a way I can transpose the sequencers depending on what key is pressed on the keyboard?

2) Can the sequencers start when said key is pressed, run through the sequence once and then reset and stop till another key is pressed?

Any general tips on how to make it more efficent, doing it better or the like would also be much appreciated as I'm such a total newbie!

Thanks
Keith

Sounding good Very Happy

The easiest way to have the oscillators also track the keyboard is to turn the KBT buttons back on.

All the step sequencers have a loop/one time switch in the top left area, just set to one time mode and connect a keyboard gate to all the Rst inputs.

Edit: I missed the fact you were using 8 voices. Leave the KBT off and connect a monokey note output to the sequencer input (on the left)

Great! That did it Smile

Thanks for the tips. Can you comment on the general construction of it? I noticed I chewed up a fair bit of resources for it, is there a cheaper or better way to put it together?

Thanks!
Keith

What modules did you use when implementing? You should only have to add a single monokey module, and use the gate and note output from that. Of course, if you use 8 voices the cost is the monokey module x 8.
