Would it be worth it to buy the alesis andromeda new? I'm in Los Angeles California. What is the lowest price you think I could get for a new one. I searched froogle and zzsounds has them for $2,300 but I dunno if ne thing is cheaper then that.

I can get one used for $1600 right now.

How do you check to see if all 16 voices r in tune?

And what issues r there when buying used?

if i'd had the money i'd buy it new , just too many things that could be wrong with it and i might need the warranty period to try them all out.
best thing to do if i bought it second hand is to take someone who knows the beast or read the manual beforehand twice + the tips on this forum and take a accurate tuner with me.
