Looping with Nord Lead 2x

I just got mine on monday and the manual is no help. I want something to play automatically while I play something manually.

Use the KeyBoard Split function [Manual page 14] One part will be the playing keyboard, the other will be used for looping.
Set the looping patch in arpeggio mode, press Shift+Hold and play a chord on the keyboard, which starts the arpeggio. If you want the arpeggio change timbre like, use a Morph set to the wheel and don't use any Morph to the playing Patch.

Ok, that helps a little, but that's not exactly what I was looking for. That only repeats like the last 2 notes played and not the way I played them.

You are looking for a built in sequencer like on the 'workstation' type keyboards. I am pretty sure you won't find one on a Nord Lead. You should be able to play loops from an external sequencer though.
