Howdy!
Well, she is about finished, minus the on board tremolo circuit! She is HEAVEEEEE! (the rectangular case is stainless steel, a surplus find for 20 bucks!) I went with the option of switching between optical resistors(the arm on the side and the golden thingy atop the box.) and pots. I also added multi capacitors via two rotary switches, instead of the standard one cap per stable/astable 555 chip! ( big thanks to rob at robthefiddled.com, for thr dual 555 schematic) this gets fed into a reworked toss away cpu powered speaker circuit of the common TDA ic variety. Why spend precious time perfboarding a audio amp when you can get them all day at any thrift store for 2 bucks a pop?
I am working on adding a tremolo circuit, but when it is completely finished, I will post some video links.

Ahoy, Ahoy! May I borrow it to send a telegram to the Prussian consulate in Siam?

Indubitably Resplendent!

I christen it "Her Majesty's Ataric Punkaphone".

Very steampunk, someone call Boingboing.net
