Here is the demo of the Brussels inspired g2 lookup sequencer.

[edit - removed video and replaced it with the patch - see post below.]

Sorry for the bad audio.

values of knobs 1 - 4 are retrieved by values on knobs 5 - 8 (which are cycled through). Essentially the 2nd 4 knobs are a sequence which picks which of the 1st 4 knob's value will be heard at the step. A lookup.

The patch is pretty simply. The 1st sequencer seeks the value from the 2nd sequencer (lookup. by limited the number of unique lookups (in this example to 4), I can assign the value and lookup sequencers (step 1-4 of each respectively) all to one panel page.

Cheers,
/Dasz
ps.: I also created a sequencer which uses the lookup values are either increments from current step (+ve values) and decrements (-ve values). 0 keeps the step at one step.

Very cool! Thanks, Dasz. How can this be adapted to allow pre-programmed selection of multiple sequencers?

create multiple lookup sequencers or multiple value sequencers and mux them on the downbeat. or put sequencers only in one slot use variations and control sequencer in different slot (this way you do not need to create multiple panel assignments per each pattern.

Dasz, I didn't get this when you showed it to me at Chateau Sonore. It was probably a combination of my poor close up vision and the abundance of that wonderful inexpensive Dutch "coffee". Wink

Anyway, I'm in a little better shape now and I can study this at the proper distance on my screen. This is pretty cool. Cool

Here is one that kind of like Sebber's piano performance.

Lookup sequencer with multiple modulations. also a good source of patterns. Playing with the values of the steps in the green "values" sequencer really changes a lot of things. Now I suppose you could modulate them & maybe a morph of them with a clocked rnd??? Wink

Someone want to try this?

Hey, I didn't see this one until now. Now there's a sebber-dasz-patch. How cool is this?
Thanks, man!
