The Thomas Henry 8038 Audio Generator Page is up here:

http://mypeoplepc.com/members/scottnoanh/birthofasynth/id32.html

Its primary purpose is that of a bench generator. It's got a CV input so you can sweep the output. It could also be patched into your synth for synthy fun, though it's not designed to track keyboards.

Schematics, parts list, PCB layout, parts placement, panel design, and drill pattern accompany the terse blow-by-blow commentary.

Cheers,
Scott

Scott,

The "Parts Placement" link yields a "Page Not Found" error.

Tried multiple times with same result.

Also...

The Front Panel PDF and Drill Guide PDF actually both point to the Front Panel PDF.

Thanks for pointing it out. I believe I've also taken care of the cross-linked XR-VCO files as well, if anyone wouldn't mind double-checking that for me.

Take care,
Scott

Nice job Scott. Thanks for the link to the book. I will repost the table of contents and cover page of the book on the link. It was lost in the server crash.

I saw this website and thought it would be a good add on to this frequency generator to make it more complete. It's nice to know what frequency you are setting. Looks cool to me Very Happy Very Happy
