Theres a state surplus depot near me.

They have palets and palets of old Civil Defense stuff....a LOT of gieger counters! Several different types.

There are also several boxes of just new, in the box, replacement meters for them.

I havnt a clue about the ratings or stats or specs on the meters, but most of them are big cool looking things.

I know there was talk in one of the Egon gieger counter soundlab threads about how to make the meter work.

But if I where to get a bunch of these meters, what could I do with them as far as integrating them into my soundlab or even wsg?

I know theres really no need at all for meters in these things....but they sure LOOK cool!

To what, and where, would I wire them so that the needle bounces around in conjunction with the various sections of the soundlab, or wsg?

I saw a suit-case sized wooden case at hobby blobby today. Its a case for carrying around oil painting supplies. It was like $15 bucks.

But I could envision putting my soundlab in it, and in the lid part, which is a couple of inches deeps (The whole thing is like 8 inches deep, maybe a little more) I could mount the meters, and probably a WSG.

In fact, its probably big enough to mount TWO Soundlabs and two wsgs. And maybe still be able to cram in some modules. (I want the ADSR next, I think)

Thoughts?

Cheers!
