After you have to remove screws from the bottom.
in the photos Andy is put down by the rear side, but when doing the work is better tu put it down by the front side, to avoid damages to the on/off switch or to jack ports.
You have to remove only screws MARKED IN BLUE.

Now you can open Andy.
Be care when you put the Andy down, in normal position,
make sure it doesn't open accidentally.
To open, you have to pull up the upper panel and put it in position like you see in these pictures:

PS
I put in the Andy before close it a bag of silica gel,as into my Wurly A200, in my Rhodes and into my Phatty.

Thank you, that is excellent and should be added to the tips and tricks document.
I don't have one in front of me to double-check your procedure, but I have to add one thing: To lift off the front panel, hold it by the endcaps and pull the bottoms of the endcaps out away from the instrument just a little bit, as it may catch and break if you are too eager.
And to emphasize about reassembly: If you have removed any of the front panel PCBs, reseat it when finished and partially install two or four screws to barely hold it in place. Make certain that each button is loose in its hole, and holding it there, tighten the screws. Making certain that all of the buttons are loose in their holes and are as normal. If any are offset, the associated switch will be broken as you tighten the many screws.
This is obvious, but there are so many buttons on each PCB that it pays to be attentive.
You may also wish to run the self-test to check all buttons and pots after you've replaced the FP PCBs and ribbons/wires, prior to replacing the front panel and screws.
It helps to have an awl or other thin, long metal piece, to put through a center-of-unit screw hole to hold the ribbon metal in place. Set a couple of screws and you're fine.
Thanks again, hope this helps.

Awesome guide man!
How hard would it be to replace the faceplate? I was thinking about making a custom top... |

The ribbon controller would probably be a little uncomfortable to use if it were angled up like that. |

Not only, you have to make also additional metal sides and cover them with wooden sides, and after you made it, you have to do deide the form: Or as a Voyager or, for example, as a Synclavier.
And the back panel will be not very beautiful, all the connections remains in the lower side... |

can't wait to hear that one...
wasn't there once a person who got the genius idea of making woodensidecaps for the a6?
i remember somethig like that, would look great , but unfortunately i somewhere lost track of him. anybody remembers or maybe knows where to contact him , or having other clues about how it went with the woodensidecaps? |

"Pay good money" is sadly the reason that they were not wood in the first place... But it would be an improvement, no pun intended. |

The people at synthwood.com told me they'd do it for $55 USD but I'd have to send in the plastic ones so they could match them. I never got around to doing it because I'm worried about my warranty. Maybe when it expires... |

Thanks again for the awesome guide, edobedo! It came in handy when I discovered something rattling around loose in my andy...
...turns out it was this!
It must belong to the previous owner... Thank God it wasn't metal! |

Haha! Fantastic!
Before closing my Andy, I put two bags of silicagel between the two mainboards to prevent oxidation. |
