I'm trying to solve the clicks that is generated by the Microwave xt in mono mode. So far one solution was to send a huge gate time (2 bars)

Is a mono mode click something common to a lot of synth?

For me the best solution to the mono mode clicks on the XT is to change the patch to play in poly mode. You can still play one note at a time and no clicks!

I found another solution for the xt. It's not pure mono as the next sound does not cut out the previous one but it sounds legato.

init sound
amplifier page: volume at 0/ keytrack at +200 or -200 i don't remember
mod: amp env to volume +63
dual mono mode
i think i was sending a gate time of 40

just guessing here. the clicks are probably caused by one note stopping the previous note and the previous note is not ending on the midline. sudden jumps from one amplitude to a very different amplitude cause clicks. if there is some way to envelope your notes so that they always fade right before the next note u won't have clicks anymore.
