Firefox question |
|
|
In Firefox on windows, the text in some topics isn't resized to fit the width of the window. In the first page of this topic for instance:
http://electro-music.com/forum/post-145204.html#145204
The problem isn't there in Internet Explorer. It's no big deal - I don't have to use Firefox. I just figured if there is an easy solution... maybe it's some setting in the browser?

Stefan, I too have been noticing this on FF too- and that's on a Mac. I've actually switched back to Safari but have loaded Saft (and Stand too) for Safari- which is awesome. It now (safari) works really well
But no- I think FF has recently run into a few issues. (sorry no links yet) _________________ ACHTUNG!

So, I think the lack of spaces is the issue, not the URL as such. _________________ Kassen |

A little experimental research never hurts. :¬)
I'm not so sure I blame the browser because cutting "things" in half arbitrarily can change their meaning. URL tags solve nearly all of it anyway. _________________ Kassen |

I am though !
But I'm more rooted maybe in the world of books where the margins are pretty physical _________________ Jan

OK, thanks for the demonstration I use Safari on the Mac, so no problem there. Right now I'm on an MS Windows can, and I don't want to use IE - I'll try to check out other browsers.

I have been noticing this same problem with IE lately, and in fact am having it on this page right now. I think that some pages I have browsed here recently will wrap correctly sometimes in IE and other times not, although I won't swear that they were the same page. I'll have to watch more closely. Firefox on this page has the same problem. _________________ When the stream is deep
