In Firefox on windows, the text in some topics isn't resized to fit the width of the window. In the first page of this topic for instance:

http://electro-music.com/forum/post-145204.html#145204

The problem isn't there in Internet Explorer. It's no big deal - I don't have to use Firefox. I just figured if there is an easy solution... maybe it's some setting in the browser?

/Stefan

Stefan, I too have been noticing this on FF too- and that's on a Mac. I've actually switched back to Safari but have loaded Saft (and Stand too) for Safari- which is awesome. It now (safari) works really well Very Happy

But no- I think FF has recently run into a few issues. (sorry no links yet)

The problem is long URLs like

http://www.amazon.com/Krups-FDH212-10-Cup-Automatic-Steamer/dp/B0000DBJRU/ref=sr_1_3/102-7216958-9472105?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1192733552&sr=8-3

people should shorten those using the URL tags, this is the same link done right.

Probably when IE does wrap such links people don't notice the problem ... it occurred to me that it would be nice when FF would format this better.

Sorry for messing up this thread's layout Very Happy

So, I think the lack of spaces is the issue, not the URL as such.

A little experimental research never hurts. :¬)

I'm not so sure I blame the browser because cutting "things" in half arbitrarily can change their meaning. URL tags solve nearly all of it anyway.

I am though !

But I'm more rooted maybe in the world of books where the margins are pretty physical Very Happy

OK, thanks for the demonstration Very Happy I use Safari on the Mac, so no problem there. Right now I'm on an MS Windows can, and I don't want to use IE - I'll try to check out other browsers.

/Stefan

I have been noticing this same problem with IE lately, and in fact am having it on this page right now. I think that some pages I have browsed here recently will wrap correctly sometimes in IE and other times not, although I won't swear that they were the same page. I'll have to watch more closely. Firefox on this page has the same problem.
