How to re-create this bass synth?

Hey all i have a snippet of the track "Bodyrox - Yeah Yeah (Feat Luciana)". In the snippet you`ll hear a very cute bass riff tho its not the riff im concentrating on, its the sound used, id like to know how to re-crate the sound used!

Id be eternally grateful if someone could tell me or give me a patch/preset. I realise a patch/preset wouldnt be much of a learning experience but im not fussy.

what synthesizer are you trying to mimic this patch for?

Sounds to me like the bass part is being doubled by another patch. The bass itself is fairly conventional dual osc bass synth sound.

The second patch sounds like a phase sync patch with minimal or no sweep, played an octave above.

try nexus and the Bass expansion, http://refx.com/?lang=en&page=products/nexus/expansions you will find in the xpbass the bodyrox preset bass included, it's just called bodyrox

It's a sawtooth and a square wave mixed, I'm pretty sure, and filtered down with some resonance. It's actually a pretty common configuration for bass, and I won't go into why, but saw and square, and saw and tri, are nice bass starters. I agree I think there's an octave in there, probably the square.

To get closer to the sound, both the envelope for the filter, and the filter itself, need to be thought out. I'm guessing some sort of 12dB filter, but it'd be punchier with a 24dB. You'd need to play with two EGs to get it to work right, but any synthesizer with a couple of Os has a couple of EGs.
