I am trying to sequence through variations in this patch, that uses an external sampler for rythm and a guitar on in-3. Thing is, when it should go to variations other than 1, the audio distorts and the display on the computer freezes. Any ideas? Bug? Wait for 1.2, whenever that may be Confused ?

I didn't have a look at the patch yet (G2's not unpacked yet after the NM event), but as it's a patch and not a performance you must be changing the variation from the patch itself. As the variation selection is also part of the things changed by the variation machinery, you're in for for potential big trouble.

It will be very hard (if not impossible) to get things working as wanted this way. Try to select variations from another slot, it will save you from a headache :-)

Jan.

Thanks Jan, that was indeed what I was trying to do. And indeed, it is quite bothersome to construct. I'll continue in the way you suggest, I guess, and make performances. Still, strange things do happen when you do it in one slot, if anyone cares.
