subject says it all.
say we use a unity gain chain of inverting OPAs as audio mixer and want to insert cap(s) for ac coupling, would there any advantage to put in a cap for each audio input of the mixer or would it be sufficient to use only one behind the mixing OPAs? i tend to believe one would be enough...

I'd tend to think that one for each input is better. The connected modules might be driving into a large DC offset from another input otherwise, which can't be good.

If input 1 is offset -10V and input 2 is at 0V, and both pots are at 100%, the offset at the summer is -5V. Any connected module is now driving it's output into -5V instead of 0V. I think. Something like that anyway. I'm not into theory very much, but it just doesn't feel right to have only one.
