These are always tough questions. At first I don't know The Killers, so the most easiest way is to ask them for the sysex... I don't think they will give it to you.

Just some guide lines... Start always with the Unison off, no Filter and no Resonance and the Envelopes open Special no Attack on the Filter. Try to find out the basis wave form, turn in some modulatons and tweak... until you'll find a better one The Killers ever had. Smile

Not the settings themselves, but the following article has some discussion (at the bottom) on the sorts of sounds that Brandon uses:

If you have settings for any of their songs, maybe you'd post them here so that others can soak up the knowledge (me for a start!)

Funny picture of the NL2, though. Looks like a lot of knobs and connectors, but surely it will be some kind of protection sheet...

It's all in the title of the article - Rhinestone Wowboys:

"Months ago, Brandon, front man and keyboardist of the Killers, began studding his keyboards and keyboard stand with a sparkling layer of fake jewels. “I heard David Bowie was coming to the show,” he says, bedecked in a velvet jacket, tie, and signature eyeshadow and lip gloss. “I had thought about doing it before and it was time. I had somebody run out and buy all the rhinestones they could find. It was upping the ante a little bit.”

The back and sides are usually completely covered as well
