a pal asked me to build him one of ray's guitar synth projects, but i'm looking for ways to hotrod it from stock... i'm thinking about doing a patched-out version, and adding one of ray's phase shifter and/or ringmodulators to the signal path, between the VCF and VCA, w/ switchable CVs from either of the existing LFO/ARs.

wondering about level-matching... i'm thinking the subcommander signals may be low, compared to what the phaser/ringmod are expecting... if so, can do some shifting a'la ken stone's stompbox adapter circuits. anyone have any ideas what to expect?

Well I think doing Ray's ringmod thingy is a bit of extra pain where ken's passive ringmod is cheap and cheerful.

Now it does have a little bleed through, so that may not be desirable.
Apparently a gate would fix it no worries.

I haven't built Ray's multiplier though so I can't say anything about its merits.

You might be able to trim up the output amp in the Guitar synth to give it more output. Otherwise Ken's adapters should work a treat!
