Thanks so much for posting this. I love this one. Very beautiful music and an very "true" to the feeling of the photograph. It's very difficult to pull off something this simple. Congratulations...

Me too, I find this one very beautiful. Very nice and quiet, like winter days can be. _________________ Jan

Wonderful piece. Very reflective, contemplative. A certain glasine starkness which I enjoyed. |

Quite agree, it's lovely. My one criticism might be that it stops rather arbitrarily - it would be interesting to achieve the same starkness of atmosphere, the stop-you-in-your-tracks quality, while also leading to a conclusion. (The old problems of form.)
That's just a quibble - it's engaging and captivating in the way that Pärt's early tintinnabuli works are engaging... and I love Pärt.

thank you danno gee ray and james for listening!
@james: you are quite correct in pointing out the lack of form. the mp3 i posted is an excerpt of a larger improvisation using the atari program m within steem (an atari emulation for pc). the midi output was recorded in logic audio 5.5.1 pc via midi yoke. (softsynths were u-he zebra2 and mfm 2.0).
best regards
