what would it take to compile a patch in max as an *.exe
but make it where when you click to launch the newly created exe
where it loads only the patch interface on your desktop screen & NOT showing the runtime container that the patch would normally be seen inside?

The edit menu has a "Build Collective / Application / Plug-In..." item which allows you to build an application.

The MaxTopics manual starts talking about this on page 12, in the Collectives chapter.

no no no

i mean if the patch be rendered to *.exe ,....
the runtime part still enguages and you see the patch inside of the runtime containor......i'm tryin to make an *.exe where they only show the patch window
when the program loads & nothing else. there must be some script kinda thing that could be made ... or append code of some kind that could integrate with this idea ?

I don't know about Windows, but on the Mac you can customize things pretty well with the standalone object and the menubar object. It's never going to look 100% like a native application, but it can get pretty close.
